Josč Van Roy Dalė was born in Perpignan (France) on February 17, 1940, from Helene Deluvina Diakonoff (Gala) and Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dalė. Josč has been working all over the world: United States, Europe, and Australia. He now lives and works among Barcelona, Madrid, and Velletri (right South of Rome) where he has a beautiful Gallery-house, with a large exibit of his paintings, sorrounded by fields and trees.
Josč is a unique artist: polyhedral, extravagant, and very unusual when he hosts the premiere of his exibits. His geniality is not only focused on painting, he is also an excellent gold craftman, a sculptor, and a engraver. He also wrote over thousand poetries, and the book "The other Dalė". In 1984 he got the Masters de la Asociatiōn de Ciudadanos del Mundo, the same award that was assigned to his father Salvador and to Joan Mirō.
In the recent exibit, Archetypes and Metamorphosis , Josč Van Roy Dalė showed his interpretation of endless masterpieces by Picasso, Raffaello, Kandinsky and Mirō. He reviewed these paintings adding ,as basic components, dream and sensuality.

"In 1939 I stated: when Renaissance intended to imitate the immortal Greece then Raphael showed up, Ingres intended to imitate Raphael then Ingres showed up. Cezanne Intended to imitate Poussin then Cezanne showed up, Dalė intended to imitate Meissonier then Dalė showed up. Who doesn't intend to imitate somebody will never show up. Today I can state: Van Roy intends to imitate only Dalė then Van Roy will show up, besides he is already Dalė."
